NEW YORK (April 15, 2026): Basketball City and MADE Hoops, the leading grassroots basketball platform in the United States, today announced a partnership to bring multiple youth basketball opportunities to the New York market during the Spring and Summer of 2026.
From April 25–26, Basketball City will host the MADE Hoops “NYC Clash” Tournament, a boys tournament open to graduating classes 2027–2031. Later in the summer, from July 27–30, Basketball City and MADE Hoops will launch the first-ever Basketball City x MADE Hoops Summer Camp, a four-day camp open to boys and girls ages 6–17.
Held in the heart of the recruiting season, the April tournament will provide high school players with a premier opportunity to compete, develop, and gain exposure as they look to position themselves for success both on and off the court. The two-day event will feature some of the region’s top prospects, as coaches from across the country evaluate talent and identify future contributors to their programs.
Basketball City hosts New York City’s most comprehensive youth basketball summer camp series for more than 30 years, welcoming thousands of young athletes each summer. The 2026 camp lineup will feature 10 weeks of programming, running from mid-June through the end of August.
As part of this year’s series, Basketball City will partner with MADE Hoops for an exclusive week of camp from July 27–30. The Basketball City x MADE Hoops Camp will feature coaching from former and current professional players, experienced high school and college coaches, and elite instructors from across the basketball community. In addition to on-court development, the camp will include off-court programming designed to help young athletes build confidence, leadership skills, and the tools necessary to succeed beyond basketball.
“We are excited to be partnering with MADE Hoops to continue Basketball City’s longstanding impact on NYC basketball,” said Andrew Godnick, Youth Basketball Director & Operations Manager at Basketball City. “MADE Hoops has built a reputation as a leader in grassroots basketball, and together we’re looking forward to creating high-level opportunities for players through both the “NYC Clash” and our expanded summer camp programming.”
“Basketball City gave me one of my first shots in sports as an intern, and it's an organization I've continued to admire,” said Chad Babel, founder and CEO of MADE Hoops. “Now, more than twenty years later, being able to bring everything full circle and launch this partnership between MADE Hoops and Basketball City is beyond my wildest dreams. I couldn't be more excited for our upcoming events and to continue to bring opportunities to youth athletes in the city that has given me everything.”
