Community Outreach

One of Basketball City’s founding principles is to give back to the community.

Participation in sports can be a catalyst for academic achievement and can help carry the student successfully to high school graduation and beyond. Participation in team sports teaches teamwork, responsibility and dedication plus it boosts self-esteem and self-confidence. Over the past years, BasketBall City has donated thousands of scholarships to kids who would not have a chance to experience these programs.

Between scholarships, donated court time, discounts to non-profits and contributions to various charities, the total Basketball City contribution for 2019 was over $1.1 million (and over $3 million in the past 3 years).
